Agree with Branded, Germany are on a downslope and have been for a while so you are hardly going to sign Lothar Matthaeus! Having said that he along with Paqueta are Internationals so not writing him off unless another manager could get a tune out of him.

Another muckboat.

Continuing to play him could be kehrer suicide for moysey.

Rolls Royce on the ball, Mobility Scooter off it.

His concentration levels will never, ever be good enough for the Premier League. A huge reason why we've lost so many games, his rickets are always horrendous.

When the Arsenal bloke turned him for the third goal he let himself get bullied and not for the first time.
Hardly looks like he's bothered half the time a disaster waiting to happen

Re: Thilo Kehrer signed
He gets forward less than Cresswell and even Coufal and does not cross much, I have can't remember seeing him do it when I have seen him play there in the past.

But is smart with his runs and smart with the ball when he gets there.

My only real concern that I mentioned on the match thread, he is quick but quicker wingers seem to surprise him.

Re: Thilo Kehrer signed
Kehrer didn't get forward as much as Coufal does, and when he did it wasn't to overlap to get in to crossing positions or create space for Bowen. Not saying that's a bad thing. Given the full backs in our squad I'd rather we play defensive ones and allow the wingers to focus on attacking. Also, seemed noticeable to me that Soucek didn't have to worry about covering for Coufal like he normally does.

Re: Thilo Kehrer signed
Great player and as others have said, good at getting forward. But guilty of some wreckless clearances. Not sure why he put the ball back into Adama Traore's path yesterday, was lucky not to concede from that.

You clearly watched a different game from the one I did because I thought he got forward a lot.

Very good player, you don’t get in the German squad if you are shit.

Re: Thilo Kehrer signed
Kehrer had a very good game at right back. Obviously told to play defensively as he rarely went past the halfway line, that aside he looks so much better than Coufal in that position.

Yes Exile, I suspect many of us would agree that is the obvious thing to do. :-) Will Moyesiah do the obvious thing? His track record suggests... maybe not :-(

Given that Zouma, Dawson and Ogbonna are all fit, I would have thought it was the obvious thing to do to try Kehrer at RB.

Guys, guys! Arguments. Strife.

Can we just be positive and concentrate on the multi-million pound pay rise Kwasi has just given him? Out of our pockets.

Vexed seems to think if you suggest different options to the current badly underperforming players, it means you're off you're head excited.

Strange way of looking at it. Kehrer is a seasoned international with Germany and Champions League performer with PSG at right back, but to suggest he'd be better than Coufal, who wouldn't get in Orient's team at the moment? YOU'RE GETTING TOO EXCITED!

It is difficult to get too excited about anything as a West Ham supporter but it is hardly one game, if you follow football at all.

He has 55 club games at right back, including in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Europa League and Champions League. He played 90 there in a Champions League Final, which I remember pretty clearly. He has also appeared in 6 games there for Germany not including early games at RWB.

Now you can say you don't care about things beyond West Ham or England (I guess, since you saw him last game, I assume) which is a valid choice but makes your opinion about "just one game" the product of ignorance more than anything else.

Re: Thilo Kehrer signed
Difficult to get too excited, he was half decent albeit against a hopeless and negative Southgate set up, yet they still managed to concede three. Not sure that's a good look. Better than Coufal? On current form probably. Doesn't do much going forward but he is quick and can defend. It's just one game, not like WHO to get overexcited prematurely!
